Privacy Policy — The Solane
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how TheSolane Co., Ltd. ("The Solane", "we", "us") handles information when you visit our websites and use our software products. Our products include Content Analysis, a platform for connecting social accounts and analyzing content performance.
We build software that works with data you authorize. This policy is written to match how our products are designed to work — not as a generic template. If the design or implementation changes, this policy must be updated to match.
2. Who we are
The Solane is the brand under which we operate our software products. The entity that operates these products is TheSolane Co., Ltd.
Legal address: 65 Xuan Dieu Street, Ward 3, Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province, Vietnam
3. Information collected on our websites
Our websites are static pages. We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts, and there is no form on this site — there is nothing here that sends your information to us.
One thing is stored on your device. When you choose a light or dark appearance, that choice is
saved in your browser's local storage under solane-theme so the site can remember it
on your next visit. It stays on your device, it is never transmitted to us, and clearing your browser
storage removes it.
As with any website, our hosting provider may process standard technical request information (such as IP address and browser user agent) in order to serve and protect the site. We do not use that information to build profiles of visitors.
4. Information you provide directly
We may collect information you choose to send to us directly, for example:
- Contact information (such as your email address) when you contact us for support, privacy, or data-deletion requests;
- The content of your messages and any information you choose to include in them.
We do not maintain a marketing database, newsletter, or customer CRM in this phase, and we do not sell contact information.
5. Information collected when you use our products
Content Analysis is designed to collect only the information needed to provide its features. This includes, for the accounts you choose to connect:
- Account and page identifiers for connected social accounts;
- Basic account and page information made available through the platform's official API;
- Content you publish (such as posts and media) and its identifiers and publication timestamps;
- Engagement and performance metrics (such as reactions, comments, reach, and impressions) that the platform's API permits us to access.
The exact categories depend on which integration you use and which permissions you approve. We do not collect anything you have not authorized.
6. Social media integrations
Content Analysis connects to social platforms you choose. Connections use each platform's official authorization flow (OAuth). You decide which accounts to connect and which permissions to approve, and you can disconnect an account at any time.
We never ask for, and do not collect, your account passwords. If any flow ever asks for a password, it is not an official integration.
7. Meta / Facebook and Instagram data
Content Analysis's first integration is with Meta platforms (Facebook Pages and, when supported, Instagram Professional accounts). Through this integration we may receive, subject to the permissions you approve and the Meta APIs' availability:
- Identifiers and basic information of the Facebook Pages you connect;
- Your posts/content and their identifiers and publication timestamps;
- Engagement metrics (for example reactions and comment counts);
- Reach and impression metrics where the API provides them;
- Page insights; and, for Instagram Professional, media and insights.
We do not collect:
- Private Facebook messages;
- Passwords or login credentials;
- Friend lists or private user data;
- Data from Facebook accounts you have not connected.
8. How we use information
We use the information we collect to provide and improve our products, including to:
- Generate analytics and dashboards showing content performance;
- Compare content performance over time and across connected accounts;
- Generate reports you request;
- Maintain historical metric snapshots so trends remain available;
- Provide product functionality you use;
- Troubleshoot integrations and technical issues;
- Improve product reliability and performance.
We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to our products, and we do not sell your data.
9. How we share information
We share information only in limited circumstances:
- With service providers that help us operate the product (for example hosting and infrastructure providers), under obligations of confidentiality;
- With the social platforms through which you connected an account, to the extent required to operate the integration you requested;
- When required by law, legal process, or enforceable government request;
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you where required.
10. Data retention
Our retention philosophy: keep data only as long as needed to provide the product, and delete it when you ask.
Specific retention periods (for example, how long access tokens, cached data, raw API payloads, and metric snapshots are kept, and whether data is kept after you disconnect an account) are not yet finalized by the project team. When they are decided, this policy will be updated with concrete numbers. Until then, we do not publish a fixed retention period.
11. Your choices and data deletion
You can exercise control over your data in several ways:
- Disconnect an account — remove a connected account from Content Analysis at any time;
- Revoke access at the source — remove the app from the connected platform's settings (for example, Meta's App Settings);
- Request deletion — ask us to delete data we have stored about you or a connected account.
See our data deletion instructions for the concrete steps. The product settings that let you disconnect accounts and delete imported data directly are still in development; until they exist, deletion requests are handled through the contact method on that page.
12. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we process, including access controls and encrypted transport. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Children
Our products are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us using the details below and we will delete it where we are able to identify it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products and obligations change. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision, and material changes will be highlighted. Continued use of our products after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
