Data Deletion — The Solane

Last updated: 2026-08-15 Draft — pending owner review

This is an implementation-ready draft. The in-product deletion tools described below are still in development; until they exist, deletion requests are handled through the contact method on this page.

1. Overview

If you want to delete data that Content Analysis has stored, there are three steps you can take, in any order:

  1. Disconnect the connected account from Content Analysis;
  2. Revoke access at the source platform (for example, in Meta's App Settings);
  3. Request deletion from The Solane using the contact method below.

2. Disconnect a connected account

Once available in the product, you will be able to manage connected accounts in Content Analysis under Settings → Connected Accounts, where you can:

  • Disconnect a connected account; and
  • Delete imported data for that account.

This in-product flow is still in development. Until it ships, use the request method in section 3 below, which has the same effect.

3. Revoke access at the source

You can also remove Content Analysis's access directly at the source platform:

  • Meta / Facebook: go to your Facebook settings → Apps and websites, find the Content Analysis entry, and remove it. This revokes the app's access at Meta, but does not by itself delete data already stored by Content Analysis.

Revoking access at the source stops new data collection immediately.

4. Request deletion from The Solane

To request deletion of data stored by Content Analysis, submit a deletion request through:

contact@thesolane.com

Please include enough information for us to identify the data, for example the email address used for your account and the accounts you connected. We will confirm receipt and let you know when the deletion is complete.

5. If you no longer have access to your account

If you no longer have access to your Content Analysis account (for example, you can no longer log in), contact us at the deletion address above and include any information you can to help us locate the data. Provide a proof-of-identity if we ask for one, so we can verify the request before deleting data.

6. What happens after we receive your request

We will process deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible and within the timeframes required by applicable law. Specific processing timeframes will be published once the product's data-handling policies are finalized; until then, we do not state a fixed number of days.

We will also confirm the steps you can take at the source platform so that access is revoked there too, since we cannot delete data held by third parties.

7. Note for platform reviewers

This page is the Data Deletion Instructions URL for The Solane's Meta app configuration. It describes how users can delete their data from Content Analysis, including through our contact channel, and how access can be revoked directly at Meta. Content Analysis is not yet available, so no user data has been collected through it.
